With a passion for the natural wonders and adventures afforded by the Virgin Islands, Americans Cory and Brian Nourie purchased their St. John home in 2016. When on holiday from the states, they immersed themselves in the culture and delighted in discovering treasures unique to the island. They learned the best places for freshly caught seafood, who made the best Painkillers and Margaritas, and to where to find the friendliest sea turtles and stingrays. They were only too excited to share their finds when family and friends visited. Everyone laughs as Cory exclaims every day, "I can't believe this place is real. It looks like a postcard."
More and more Cory and Brian found themselves enjoying excursions above and below the waves. Some days they explored surrounding islands. On others they basked in the sun and swam in the majestic deep blue water. The ocean gave way to a new playground and a business was born.
With friends and partners, the Driban Family, and veteran captain, Matthew Ress, the Nouries founded AquaVibes Charters, the charter boat with a uniquely personal touch.
